Not the painting, just the blind. First I had to get it out of the box. That took longer than you may think. The staples on it are very strong. Then I had to figure out how to get it up without gouging the window reveal like the study blind brackets did. My (temporary) solution was paddlepop sticks. I think some rubber washers maybe would be a good permanent solution. Anyhow, it needs another bracket in the middle, I can see it sagging. And just because another photo really is in order, here is our loungeroom window.
I need to reduce the length of the net curtain obviously. That will happen soon. The sewing machine is out so it should really happen now, but I'm a bit nervous about cutting the net straight so I'm putting it off...
